The earliest Davis family photo we have. This is my father's family in front of their home taken about 1904. Daddy's Uncle France is on the porch, one of the Jollys is on the steps. In the yard stand (left to right) my grandfather (who is holding my daddy), Uncle Moody, Uncle Harry, my grandmother (who is holding Uncle Frank), and my Aunt Flora (older daughter).
The Davis family reunion of 1909. Assembled are my grandfather and his brothers and sisters and their families. My grandfather is the may left of center with the white beard. He is holding Uncle Lee and Aunt Esther. To his right is my grandmother, who is holding Aunt Mary. To his left are Uncle Frank, my father, Uncle Harry , Uncle Moody, and (older brother) Uncle Grover. On the top step (wearing the bow tie) is the oldest daughter, Aunt Flora, with her husband and children.
